- I've checked that distribution. None of the distributions cantain
- libX11.a or .sa. I now one or the other is not required with ELF.
- Nevertheless, I can't compile X programs. For example:
- gcc -o x-prog x-prog.c -I/usr/X11R6/include -L/usr/X11R6/lib -lX11
- gives a library not found error.
